Pledge4Code is a different kind of software development company. We know you have a need for custom open source software, and probably don't want to bear the full development costs. We develop software which is funded by micro-payment pledges from other users who need similar software.

Each project starts as with a core idea submitted by you, which is then rated, refined, and commented on by our other users. Popular project ideas are then given a full set of specifications, and the community of users will be able to take an active role in overseeing the development process. Projects are developed in stages, which we refer to as "iterations", where the software is in a usable but not yet complete state. After each iteration, the software is available for download and use. All software developed for you is released under an open source license. Support services are also available at different levels depending on your needs.
